How To Solve Rubik’s Cube Last Layer – X Easy Tricks

Rubik’s cube is a mystery to many. As a beginner, with every twist and turn, you find yourself more entangled. It makes you wish only if you had a straightforward solution to all of it. Some tricks and shortcuts always come handy when solving a cube. In this article, the focus is on the solution to solving the last layer of the classic Rubik’s cube. To expand your collection of exciting and durable cubes visit www.cubelelo.com, they have a wide variety to offer!

Some of the tricks are given below.

1.Learn all the algorithms

A lot of professional cubers have mentioned that to get to where they are you have to start with the basics. You learn the basic moves, practice them so much that it comes to you naturally. Similarly, you have to learn the algorithms that there are. Now, for the last layer, you have the various looks of OLL and PLL. You will have to learn 57 algorithms for the OLL and 21 for the PLL. In all you will have to learn 78 algorithms, which a lot of people think is too much. However, they are mostly a variation of one another. As they are so similar, it makes memorizing them easier.

Otherwise you can go for the two look OLL and two look PLL, which amounts to about 16 algorithms. After that, you will need to learn full PLL which is 21 algorithms. This enables us to help solve the cube faster. You can definitely try the OLL – r U R’ U R U2 r’ and take it further from there. Focus on the OLL 7 and 8. These are pretty helpful ones.

2.Increase your turn speed

You may be looking for certain shortcuts that directly help you transcend to a solved cube. However, the very trick lies in the basics. Like your turning speed, it may not look important at first but it can make all the difference. For that you need to drill your algorithms. You have to get so habitual of them that you do them really fast. It may get boring or monotonous after a point, try to make it a game. Challenge yourself at every move and try to beat your last timing. Practice as much as possible for this, only then you will be faster.

3.The next tip is to find better ways to do the algorithm

Any algorithm can be improved to your advantage. You need to be smart enough to find what changes will be useful and better-suited to your style of cubing. Use better finger tricks to reduce the number of regroups. Algorithms which are not risky. Faster recognition.

4.Prediction

CP recognition refers to corner permutation. When you get any OLL case, look at just 3 corner stickers, choose those which you will be able to recognise consistently. Memorize the solved case when you do the OLL, you will get a solved corners case so that means it could only have U/H/Z perms. Memorize the diagonal case and then go for E/N/V/Y perms, this narrows down your next moves. It helps with PLL recognition. Make this your strong suit. After a while, the steps will get ingrained in your muscle memory and you will develop perceptive thinking.

5.Put All Into One Play

Grasp the cube firmly in your hand in such a manner that the uppermost piece that you would like to orient is on the front-right-top corner, then do this algorithm twice or fourfold until that certain piece is oriented correctly: R’D’RD

When a yellow corner is oriented accurately, turn the highest layer only to maneuver another yellow corner piece you would like to orient to the front-right-top corner of the cube and repeat R’ D’ R D again till a specific piece is OK.

Keep doing this until your Cube is solved. Many people ruin their cube during this final step because they skip the last D turn as soon as they see the yellow sticker facing up at the highest . Make sure you complete the entire R’ D’ R D algorithm.

Don’t rotate the entire cube while doing the steps! Face rotations only and follow the steps carefully.

6.Inter alia

There are some important algorithms which will help you solve the last layer with ease and within less time. They are – The 3 move OLL, the four move OLL, Dodge algorithm  – U R U’ L’ (U R’ U’ L) three times with standard algorithm.
