Packing:
Because the transit period for local moves is about 1 to 2 hours, the possibilities of items being damaged are relatively low. Usually, only the most fragile objects are packed, such as electronics and kitchenware, which are wrapped in sheets and placed in cardboard boxes.

Distance.
The cost is determined not only by the distance travelled but also by the destination city. To give you an example, if you’re moving a 2BHK from Hyderabad to Bangalore, a shared truck will cost you between Rs 14k and Rs 20k. It would cost roughly 15.5k to 21k to relocate the identical 2BHK from Bangalore to Kochi. Even though the distance is the same, demand for the outwards destination lowers the price. For local house removal services, the cost mainly depends on cost of labour and the packing materials.
Type of Vehicle:
It all depends on whether you want to use a shared or dedicated truck. If you choose a shared truck, the vehicle will be shared by two to three homes, and delivery will take a bit longer than usual, but the pricing will be very low. If you need quick delivery and don’t want to share a truck, a dedicated truck is the way to go. It can cost anywhere between Rs 1000 and Rs 4000. Packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking will account for roughly 20% to 25% of the total cost.
Taxes on other things:
Because the truck must cross borders and travel on state highways, the regular toll rates have an impact on your transportation cost. Octroi charges are only applicable in a few states.
Optional insurance
Insurance is not required, although it is always a good idea to have it for a non-local move.
