Big Screens Are So Harmful to Kids Health

While electronic devices and digital media have certainly improved our lives in many ways, research has shown that many problems can arise from overexposure. There are many mental and physical health problems that children, teenagers and young adults can face if they spend too much time on screens and pay insufficient attention to people and activities surrounding them.

Even many parents get the Big Screen Hire services and install the big screens at their homes that are so harmful to the health of the children. Here are some physical and mental harmful effects of the big screen on the children:

Sleep Problems:

Many people are unaware of the direct link between the use of electronic devices and sleep disorders. Excessive use of electronics, especially when going to bed, can affect sleep in children and adults. The use of electronic devices makes it difficult to fall asleep, interferes with sleep at night and generally affects sleep quality.

Mental Problems:

Most parents agree that the longer our children spend time in fences, the more they become moody! Children can be over-stimulated by the time they use in front of the screen without realizing it, resulting in a darker mood, more anxiety, increased irritability and poor behaviour.

Physical Health Problems:

Prolonged exposure to electronic devices can lead to several serious health problems, including insulin resistance, obesity, abdominal fat and an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. These physical health problems occur when screen time increases. As children spend more time watching television, watching movies, and becoming more interested in online media, they are exposed to children’s food. This can lead to overeating. Because when children are so much busy in watching movies or games, they have no idea how much they eat. This will badly effect on their stomach.

Vision Problems:

The more time children spend on screens, the greater the chance of different types of eye problems. Ophthalmologists often experience eye problems in children during eye examinations, as a frequent display of screens changes our flashing frequency. This can lead to chronic dry eyes and contact lens problems. Computer vision syndrome reflects the negative effects that frequent use of electronic devices may have on our eyes and vision.

The burden of constant use of near vision on electronic devices is particularly problematic for children, many of which are therefore short-sighted. It can also make it difficult to coordinate vision and motor skills in manuscripts, cuts, physical activity, and other abilities. Visual problems of this kind also complicate how children work in the classroom.
