A long history of 200 years of slavery, India comes up as an emerging nation on the world map. From the midnight of 14th of August 1947, India has done a tremendous journey in terms of freedom, development, and prosperity. Hence, this year, we are celebrating our 71st year of Independence.

The day is celebrated all over the country with great pride, from schools to colleges, and from corporate to government offices, even though the day is declared as a National Holiday. To keep the moral high Media and TV channels show patriotic movies and the radio plays patriotic songs. These days the youth is using social media to share and celebrate the day by sharing patriotic messages, pictures, and tweet showing their respect for their motherland.

The police department of Delhi is whole heartedly working to make is celebration an incident-free event. In order to ensure that the event is carried out with full safety, 300 cameras (360-degree view with night vision) are getting installed at the Red Fort for better surveillance and to cover every nook and corner in the near vicinity.
