Will ‘Smart Pills’ Actually Make You Smarter?

The idea of a “good” drug that could help you concentrate, understand, and think faster is promising when dealing with examination stress or reaching this imminent deadline. At least, that’s what the emerging state of affairs on college campuses suggests. Smart pills are being used by a growing number of students and researchers to improve academic success, similar to how you would drink a cup of coffee to remain alert.

Off-label, so-called “smart medications” are being used for their ostensibly cognitive enhancement effects. Since cognition refers to gathering, organizing, and storing information, the drugs promise improved memorization and focus in healthy people.

The cognitive enhancers to help you out

Sleep, diet, and exercise are the “normal” ones, while intelligent medicines are synthetic cognitive enhancers.
